The staff and students of the secondary section gathered in prayer and reflection for the First Friday Mass and Prayer Service, drawing inspiration from the theme of courage, respect and true discipleship.
The Holy Mass for the Catholic students was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francisco Pereira, who reflected on the Gospel invitation, “Take up your cross and follow Me.” He reminded students that just as they sacrificed leisure and comfort to prepare for their examinations or sports, every disciple is called to let go of bad habits and selfishness, embrace daily responsibilities, and joyfully serve others.
The Prayer Service, attended by Br. Allan Netto, focused on the values of courage and respect. Through inspiring examples, students were encouraged to stand firm for what is right despite challenges and to respect differences with compassion and understanding.
The solemn celebrations concluded with a renewed commitment to live lives of integrity, faith and service, becoming courageous witnesses of goodness in everyday life.
