The students of STD VIII had an enriching learning experience on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, as they participated in a special Visitor’s Program on “The Invisible World of Microbiology and Its Career Prospects.” The session was conducted by Mr. Vikram Saptarshi, a parent of the school and an accomplished professional with qualifications in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Marketing Management, along with 27 years of industry experience.
With engaging explanations and interesting videos, he introduced students to the remarkable world of microorganisms and their influence on everyday life. Students explored their useful applications as well as their harmful effects.
The session also provided valuable insights into career pathways in Microbiology, encouraging students to look beyond textbooks, nurture their curiosity and explore the exciting possibilities offered by science.
