Teacher’s Day cum Gratitude Day,5th September 2023:

A much-anticipated in-person teachers’ day celebration was held for the Savion teachers to honour them on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
The celebration began with a warm welcome to the teachers and coaches who were escorted to their respective classrooms by their beloved students.
The day began with a prayer service, where the students prayed over their teachers and the teachers, in turn, pledged to stay dedicated and committed to their vocation and their students. Our Rector and Manager, Rev. Fr. Francisco Pereira, and Principal, Ms. Valerie Mascarenhas, thanked the teachers for their service and shared their words of wisdom on this important occasion. The prayer service was followed by a classroom programme in the respective sections.
The students of various sections expressed their gratitude to their teachers through songs, speeches and quiz that left a broad smile on the faces of their teachers.The young Savions expressed their gratitude and respect towards their mentors.
The classroom programme was followed by a special Mass celebrated for the teachers, both present and retired staff. The celebrations concluded with fun games and a fellowship meal.
The Savion Trailblazers expressed their gratitude to the support staff of the school on the occasion of Teacher’s Day with floral tributes. They also expressed their thoughts and wishes hand made cards and words of appreciation.
A heartfelt thanks to the management, students, and parents for making this a grand celebration!
