Red Day celebration, Friday, 14th July, 2023: The red day celebrations in the pre-primary section began with the bubbly little stars posing in their red t-shirts and beautiful red objects in their tiny hands. Their vibrant energy was indeed a visual delight. The song “Red is the colour of the day,” echoed through the section as the little Savions sang in unison during the morning assembly. The KG section was also decked up with beautiful red displays and student art and craft work diligently arranged by all the teachers to celebrate the day. Both the Jr and Sr. KG students happily displayed their red objects like red apples, red strawberries, red cars, fire trucks, red balls and balloons, etc and gave a brief description about the same during show n tell activity. The teachers too had carefully organised interesting activities in their respective classrooms on red colour for the students like colouring the balloon red along with painting red fruits, sticking red lollipops to form Letter L, pasting red apples on baskets, etc.
Through all these activities, children learnt about the colour ‘Red’ and rekindled their minds and enhanced their cognitive skills. It was certainly a day to cherish, a memory to be captured and a rejuvenating experience which enlivened the atmosphere into breezy red!!!!
