The Pre-Primary Section came alive in shades of blue on Monday, 3rd August 2026, as students enthusiastically celebrated Blue Day. The vibrant celebration provided young learners with an opportunity to explore the colour blue through a variety of engaging and meaningful activities.
The excitement was evident as the children sang and danced to lively Blue Day songs, filling the school with joy and energy. In the days leading up to the celebration, students had enthusiastically created blue-themed artwork during their Art classes. Their colourful creations, including flowers, cars, umbrellas, jelly fish and other imaginative pieces, transformed the corridors into a captivating display of creativity.
Adding to the festive spirit, the children arrived dressed in different shades of blue and proudly carried their favourite blue objects from home. During the Show and Tell activity, they confidently shared a few sentences about their chosen items, helping to develop their communication skills and self-expression. Parents also contributed wholeheartedly by assisting their children in preparing innovative blue-themed objects, making the celebration even more special.
A hands-on STEM activity with water, salt and blue colour conducted during the EVS period was the highlight of the day. Through exploration and discovery, the children gained a deeper understanding of the colour blue while nurturing their curiosity and scientific thinking.
