Little Hearts, Big Smiles: Children’s Day Celebration
“Every child is a different kind of flower…” perfectly captured the spirit of the Children’s Day celebration at St. Dominic Savio High School. The Primary Section came alive with joy as teachers, parents, and students created a vibrant atmosphere. Classrooms decorated with balloons, streamers, and artwork made every child feel cherished.
The programme began in the AV Hall with a warm welcome, a prayer, and a melodious Welcome Song by the students. Laughter filled the hall during the captivating Magic Show. A major highlight was the imaginative skit, “The Animals Visit St. Dominic Savio High School,” enthusiastically enacted by teachers, bringing humour, creativity, and energy to the stage. A lively dance performance added to the festive spirit.
Rev. Fr. Franco encouraged children to nurture their inner light and grow in virtues, academics, sports, and responsibility, while remembering the less privileged. Students later enjoyed classroom games, received tokens of love, and snacks provided by the management. The celebration truly honoured every child.
