On 25th August 2026, the Primary Section of St. Dominic Savio High School organised an engaging Visitors’ Programme for the students of Standard III who had the wonderful opportunity to be guided by Lion Deepak Row from the Lions Club on the important topic of ‘Waste Segregation and Management’.
The programme aimed to help young learners understand the importance of segregating waste and making responsible choices in their daily lives. Through an interactive session and hands-on activities, students learnt how proper waste management can help keep their surroundings clean and protect the environment.
The session made environmental learning meaningful by connecting it with simple, everyday actions. It encouraged students to become more mindful of the waste they generate and understand the importance of reducing, reusing and responsibly managing waste. The programme left a lasting impact by nurturing environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among the students.
A heartfelt thank you to Lion Deepak Row and the Lions Club for inspiring our young learners to recognise that even small, consistent actions can contribute to a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable world.
