Encouraging Responsible Choices and Personal Growth
The Prafulta Centre for Psychological Wellness conducted the fourth session of the Emotional Development and Career Guidance (EDCG) programme for the Secondary Section (STDs V to IX) from 2nd February to 13th February 2026. The sessions aimed to guide students in understanding themselves better and developing healthy habits for their overall well-being.
Each grade explored meaningful and age-appropriate topics. Std. 5 students learned how to handle screen time wisely and understood the importance of balance. Std. 6 students were guided through the changes of puberty in a comfortable and understanding environment. Std. 7 students learned useful tips to improve concentration and manage their time better. Std. 8 students reflected on the importance of maintaining healthy and respectful relationships with their families. Std. 9 students focused on developing essential life skills that will help them in their future careers.
Through simple discussions and engaging activities, students gained valuable insights about themselves and their responsibilities. These sessions continue to support the emotional development of students and help them grow into confident, responsible, and well-balanced individuals.
