St. Dominic Savio School, Primary Section, celebrated Traditional Day on 14th August, embracing the rich cultural heritage and traditions of our diverse nation. The celebration aimed to help students appreciate India’s cultural diversity while fostering a sense of pride, respect and unity.
The day began with patriotic songs, followed by informative PPTs that introduced students to the traditions and cultural aspects of India. Students enthusiastically shared their own cultures, languages and traditional foods with their classmates, promoting mutual understanding and respect. They further explored the rich cultural heritage of their country through crosswords, puzzles, worksheets and colouring activities based on Indian traditions.
The celebration helped students understand the beautiful message of “Unity in Diversity” and encouraged them to value and respect different cultures. The joyful event concluded with students sharing sweets and food, strengthening the bonds of friendship and togetherness.
