On 1st September, St. Dominic Savio – Primary Section, conducted a meaningful Visitors’ Programme for the students of Std. IV, with an interactive session by Police Sub-Inspector, Akshay Lakshman Shinde from MIDC Police Station, Andheri East, accompanied by Police Head Constable, Nitin Chavan.
The programme aimed to sensitise students about personal safety, the role of the police, cyber fraud, online scams, child safety and the POCSO Act. Through simple and age-appropriate explanations, the students learnt how to use mobile phones and the internet responsibly, safeguard their personal information and seek help whenever they feel unsafe.
The learning was reinforced through a recap activity where students presented posters and shared important safety messages.
The session was both informative and empowering, encouraging young learners to be more alert, responsible and safety-conscious in their everyday lives.
