Traditional Food Day was celebrated in the Pre-primary section on 11th and 12th August 2026, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. The event introduced young learners to traditional foods, attire, customs, festivals and practices passed down through generations.
The Pre-primary section was enriched by the presence of Senior KG parents Mrs. Shailaja, Mrs. Meghna and Mrs. Pooja, along with Junior KG parents Mrs. Humera and Mrs. Priyanka. Dressed in traditional attire, they brought homemade delicacies and enthusiastically shared their cultural traditions with the children.
The interactive experience encouraged curiosity, respect and appreciation for India’s diverse heritage. Children enjoyed observing, exploring and discussing the foods and customs, discovering that every dish carries a unique story.
Traditional Food Day was a memorable celebration of flavours, culture and togetherness, reminding us that food beautifully connects generations, preserves traditions and strengthens our roots.
