On 19th June 2026, the students of St. Dominic Savio High School gathered for the Inaugural Prayer Service and Mass of the Holy Spirit, marking the beginning of the new academic year. Centred on the theme, “Do Whatever He Tells You—Faith in Action: Making a Difference”. The celebration encouraged students to live their faith through responsible actions.
The Holy Eucharist for Catholic students was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Franco Pereira, Rector and Manager, who highlighted P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility in Daily Effort), the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the significance of the Sign of the Cross, as a powerful expression of faith and a reminder of God’s presence and protection in their daily lives.
Simultaneously, students of other faiths participated in a prayer service with a lamp-lighting ceremony, a theme-based skit and a reflection by Br. Allan Netto, the school Administrator, on kindness, gratitude and positivity.
The celebration concluded with a call to embrace the year with faith, purpose and enthusiasm.
