The Pre-Primary Section experienced an exciting and educational morning on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, when Mrs. Nastasia D’Souza, a nurse from Tata Memorial Hospital, visited the school as part of the Visitors’ Programme.
The session was designed to help young learners understand the importance of personal hygiene in a fun and engaging manner. Using an interactive PowerPoint presentation, catchy songs, and lively discussions, Mrs. D’Souza introduced the children to simple yet essential habits such as washing hands correctly, keeping nails clean and trimmed, and maintaining overall cleanliness to stay healthy.
Adding a creative twist to the programme, the children were encouraged to think of themselves as “Hygiene Heroes” whose superpowers come from practicing good habits every day. Through this imaginative approach, they learned how cleanliness protects them from harmful germs, bacteria, and viruses.
The visit not only increased the students’ awareness of healthy living but also inspired them to take responsibility for their own well-being.
The Visitors’ Programme continues to provide meaningful opportunities for children to learn from professionals and gain practical knowledge beyond the classroom.
