The first phase of the Emotional Development and Career Guidance (EDCG) Programme, conducted by Prafulta Centre for Psychological Wellness, was held for students of Grades 5 to 10 from 13th to 22nd July 2026.
Through interactive activities, discussions, worksheets and breathing exercises, students learnt to recognise and understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies and build emotional resilience. The sessions also highlighted the importance of balancing screen time with play and adopting positive habits for overall well-being.
For the senior students, the focus was on managing examination stress, handling emotions effectively and understanding that their worth extends far beyond academic scores. Younger students explored emotions through stories, games and creative activities, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
The programme provided students with practical life skills that will help them navigate challenges with confidence, empathy and self-awareness. It was an enriching beginning to the year, reaffirming the importance of emotional well-being in every child’s holistic development.
