On Tuesday, 14th July 2026 the students of STD X presented a thought-provoking assembly on ‘Interior Freedom – When You Believe… A Million Dreams Come True,’ inspiring everyone to reflect on the choices that shape our lives. Through a powerful blend of drama, music and dance, they explored the hidden struggles of today’s youth – peer pressure, comparison, social media, gaming, academic stress and the search for acceptance – reminding us that true freedom lies in choosing faith over fear.
Addressing the gathering, our Rector and Manager, Rev. Fr. Francisco Pereira, thanked the teachers and students for their meaningful presentation and challenged the senior boys to live the message they had shared. He reminded them that “interior freedom comes from deep conviction and motivation”, and means “doing the right thing in the right way, even when no one is watching.” Urging students not to let technology or the crowd steal their ‘most precious gift’ of interior freedom, he encouraged them to look, listen, choose and act, becoming positive influences wherever they go.
The assembly concluded with a powerful reminder that true inner freedom is found not in following the crowd, but in following one’s conscience and God’s call.
