Following a week of teacher training programmes in Smart Board usage, Language Teaching, a Phonics workshop, and an EDCG session conducted by Prafulta, St. Dominic Savio High School reopened on 15th June 2026, ushering in a new academic year. Inspired by the school theme, “Do Whatever He Tells You – Faith in Action, Making a Difference,” the Savion family began the year with renewed faith, enthusiasm, and purpose.
A spirit of learning and togetherness filled the campus as students returned after the summer break, eager to reconnect with friends, teachers, and the wider school community. The Secondary Section marked the occasion with an inaugural assembly comprising the morning prayer, national anthem, and ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Rev. Fr. Franco welcomed the students, introduced the new management team and encouraged the students to practise LLCA – Listen, Look, Choose and Act. He also congratulated the school community on its outstanding 100% SSC results.
Sr. KG students were warmly welcomed by their teachers with hugs, high-fives, songs, games, and interactive activities, while Primary students were welcomed through an engaging intercom assembly, vibrant display boards, and activities that fostered confidence, cooperation, and a sense of belonging.
The day concluded with optimism and readiness for a year of faith, learning, growth, and service.
