Primary Section : Inauguration of the School House System 2025-26
On July 2, 2025, St. Dominic Savio High School held the grand inauguration of its House System for the academic year 2025-26.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries. The theme for the year, Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with Young People on the Path of Peace, was introduced and beautifully expressed through a dance and a symbolic presentation by teachers.
Each house introduced its unique sub-theme: Red House – Builders of a Better Tomorrow, Blue House – Walking Together, Growing Together, Green House – Hope as a Daily Choice, and Yellow House – Peace Begins with Me. The celebration featured a joyful song and a well-coordinated march-past led by the House Master. The School Captain introduced the House Teachers, while the Vice Captains and prefects shared their roles and mottos. The newly elected house council pledged to serve with discipline and dedication.
Rev. Fr. Rector thanked all for the impressive House Inauguration Assembly, emphasized Don Bosco’s vision of nurturing young talents, encouraged all to anchor themselves in the values of our great House Leaders, and urged unity in fostering hope. He inaugurated the house system, presented badges and ties to council members, and honoured achievers in academics, conduct, co-curricular activities, and sports from the previous year.
With great enthusiasm, the school looks forward to a successful year ahead, guided by unity and hope.
