My Dear Savion’s, thank you very much for the warm welcome that I have received from the members of the management, staff, non-teaching staff, parents and students.  I do appreciate the words and sentiments expressed.  It has made me feel at HOME with you.

At the very beginning of this new academic year 2023-24, I would like to express my thanks to the outgoing Rector and Manager Rev. Fr. Brian Moras sdb, for the good work of animation and guidance given to St. Dominic Savio High School.  We wish him well in his new assignment.

Congratulations to our SSC batch of March 2023, who along with our Principal Mrs. Valerie Mascarenhas, Vice Principal Fr Kiran Salve sdb, all the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and dear parents for the 100% results that made the Savion family proud and blessed.

The vision statement of our school:    ‘St Dominic Savio High School stands for a holistic and integral development of the student- to help develop the student’s spirit, mind and body’.

To fulfill this vision and mission of our institution:

  • We are called to collaborate and take responsibility.
  • We work together in the education of our children; be it at home or in school.
  • Called to re-enforce values of God, community and country.
  • Above all to make us grow in HEAD, HEART AND HANDS.

As SAVION’S we all need to support each other to grow in:

  • HEAD = knowledge = mind. Help in understanding and knowledge.  To instill a daily habit of study and punctuality.
  • HEART= spirit = God. To give importance to God and others.  Love God and neighbor as self.  To spend time in prayer.  To be loving beings.
  • HANDS = body= help. To be of help to someone; to involve in some noble cause.  To do a good turn at home, school and community.

Let us as a community grow together in Head, Heart and Hands.  This will help us to keep our vision and mission of St Dominic Savio High School, which will give us, in a concrete way, to move towards holistic and integral development of our children, whom the loving God has given into our care; to make of them, GOOD HUMAN BEINGS and HONEST CITIZENS.

Together we will achieve!
