The students of the yellow house along with their House teacher, Ms Lianne, put up a wonderful assembly on the theme ‘Love’ one of the aspects of Mercy, the theme for the year.
Their assembly brought out several aspects of love and also provided a clear definition of the term. Through a beautifully directed skit, they showed how love can be killed by ego and that love has several meanings. It’s love that encompasses all other values.
In his address, our Rector and Principal Rev. Fr. Crispino D’Souza told the kids that according to him Love = Sacrifice, which includes experiencing pain. He elaborated on this by giving examples of God’s love for his people.
He concluded with the following words by Mother Teresa, “……if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.”
