The entire Primary section gathered together this morning at 10a.m. in the assembly hall to welcome two visitors to their school  ‘The Soldier and Fireman ‘

Today is a special day in the calendar, 14th February. It’s Valentine’s Day. But in ST Dominic Savio High School it’s doubly special today as we have two wonderful people who have come to visit us. This shows how much they love us. 

Put your hands together for our brave men Mr.Satya Prakesh Mane  who is a brave soldier and Mr.Ravendra Chaudhari who also is a brave fireman. 

There are many other community helpers who work for us and make life comfortable for us. What would happen if they were not there?  Let’s thank all our community helpers for the great service they do for us.  

The teachers of Std I Mrs Pamela Dias and Mrs Mary D’Souza organized this programme

As the students of STD I are learning about people who help us Like the Postman, Milkman, Cobbler, Tailor Mason Plumber, Electrician 

They invited a solider and a fireman to talk to the boys

Teacher Pamela welcomed our Vice Principal Rev Fr. Charlin Chandran, introduced the visitors and welcomed them with a spray of flowers and a card.She then asked them to speak to the students 

The Soldier Mr Staya Prakash Mane gave a talk on__Yudh Abhiyas through PPT and spoke to the boys on the importance of being a soldier in our country and also showed them how they work rigoursly and protect our Nation .He also shared about the daily routine a soldier has to go through. 

The Fire man was Mr Ravindra Chaudhari who shared about his way of work and the three main motto for them Save Life, Stop Fire and Save property 

We then invited Rev Fr Charlin Chandran to speak to the assembly and thank the two visitors

The Head Teacher Mrs Maria Xavier Invited Mr Satya Prakash Mane and Mr Ravinder Chaudhari to gave away the prizes of the Drawing competition held on 25th January to the winners

Mrs Mary D’Souza gave the vote of thanks.
