Wednesday, 18th January 2017 was the day students of Std III enjoyed their Mumbai Darshan as their field trip. Once the student reached Colaba via Worli Rajiv Gandhi Sea-Link seeing Haji Ali, Mahalaxmi Temple, Chowpatty and Queens Necklace got into most awaited open bus ride. Boys enjoyed the sightseeing around Mumbai streets and landed at Hanging Garden for lunch break. Here children enjoyed playing in the park and also had a snapshot at Old Lady Shoe. Thereafter boys moved ahead to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum. It was a delightful sight to see our students observing, enjoying, discussing and reading about different animals, reptiles, birds, see creature which are preserved and presented in there with various techniques. Student also had a small little show about birds and nature where they learned about different birds, their nest and other interesting matters. On their way, back to school students did catch the glimpse of Gateway of India. Surely this field trip has kindled some thought about our own city, nature and birds! Keep learning boys!
