The inaugural ceremony began with the March Past by the four houses – Rua, Zatti, Magone and Rinaldi followed by displays and performances by the Yoga, Tai-Chi and Dance and Drama groups.

The students of each house were divided into 3 sections: Juniors, Inters and Seniors and each section was further divided into eight groups thus providing each student a chance to participate in eight group games namely Football, Basketball, Square Ball, Box Cricket, Kabaddi, Langadi, Kho-Kho and Throw Ball. The group events provided an opportunity to the students to not only make new friends but also develop an important skill of working as a team. There was a stunning display of colours as the four houses competed with one another.
