Respect for the Girl Child was the theme of today's Green House Assembly.
Under the guidance of their house teachers Ms Rochelle and Ms Hetal the Green House brought out through song, dance and drama the sad situation of the girl child in our society with female infanticide and discrimination. Not leaving matters at that they drew attention to the dreams and aspirations of every girl, to the need for the balance in society to be restored and the fact that girls and boys are made different and each need to be respected for these differences.
Rev Fr Rixson reaffirmed the theme while drawing attention to the thought "Every man needs a mother, a sister, maybe even a wife, then why not a daughter?"
