Fancy dress competition: 7th December 2016.
Fancy Dress Competition was held in the section and the theme was “Community Helpers” The two judges for the Sr.K.G were Nerissa Gonsalves and Rayna D’ Souza and in Jr.K.G were Ms. Leanne Fernandes and Ms. Savneet Kaur. Role playing is one of the most important tools of learning. The purpose of conducting this competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience. The participants were dressed in most vibrant colours, some students were dressed up as policeman, milkman, nurse, vegetable & fruit seller, lawyers, postman, dabbawala etc. and also enacted their roles very well. It was a competition that not only laid emphasis on the costume but also gave the students a platform to build their self – confidence and explore the inner strength. Lastly our supervisor Mrs. Helen Fernandes gave a vote of thanks to judges and also to our parents for their hardwork. The winners were given certificates, then they went home happily.
