Teachers’ Day was celebrated on Saturday, 3rd September 2016. It was a day to celebrate and thank the teachers for all the hard work and efforts they put in to educate each kid in St. Dominic Savio High School. Every teacher was felicitated in the respective classrooms followed by a general program in the Assembly Hall. The kids left no stone unturned to ensure that their teachers had the best day ever. And sure they did!
Our Rector and Principal, Rev. Fr. Crispino D’Souza explained, through personal experiences, how a teacher is actually a fortune teller and therefore what s/he says should be taken seriously and respected. He also thanked the teachers for their hard work and dedication.
The day ended with merriment and games followed by a fellowship lunch with the staff, present and retired, and the management.
A big thank you to Ms Nereen who coordinated the stage events, the several other teachers, parents, students and ex-Savions who contributed to the success of this program!
